The SOFIMUN Foundation as the legal body of the
SOFIMUN event has established certain conditions
that
organization, wishing to work with SOFIMUN
Foundation, should recognize and implement in the
mutual work between the 2 organizations. The
conditions are as follows:
- To
have a legal binding treaty (agreement) signed
between the sides (optional only when dealing on
low-level organizational matters).
- To
have full transparency (including financial)
during the mutual work and after the event to have
a full report submitted to the partners and to
have it open for the public.
- To
have mutual cooperation and understanding.
- To
have legality (social, public and inner
organizational work in accordance with the laws
and legal acts of the Republic of Bulgaria, the
European Union and the state where the actor is
registered).
- To
obey and have respect to the rule of law (all laws
and legal acts to be respected and followed by the
actor).
- To
have non-political activities and to not work
against individuals, groups of individuals,
organizations, societies, local and state
institutions, cities and states.
- To
not offend and discredit individuals, groups of
individuals, organizations, societies, local and
state institutions, cities and states.
The
conditions stated above are in order to prevent
events that may lead to negative effects to the
MODEL UNITED NATIONS idea.
